Megan is affiliated to Rennie Cox in the capacity of a consultant with an emphasis in health.
Megan has a business degree (majoring in business law) and has previously practised as a qualified legal executive in law firms. In the last 15 years Megan has worked both in the public and private health sectors undertaking a number of contract and strategy roles.
- Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements on behalf of organisations, such as the Southern Regional Health Authority, Clinical Training Agency and Southern Cross Medical Care Society
- Management of funding arrangements, preparation of consultation papers, developing tender and RFP documentation for the Clinical Training Agency
- Overall management of the operations of the Clinical Training Agency - including development of budgets and preparation of business plans
- Undertaking a number of key projects for the Southland DHB and the Health Funding Authority.
Coupled with her contract negotiation experience, strategic planning and project management work, Megan has a thorough understanding of the health sector and is happy to undertake short or long term projects.
